Civic Mentorship Network: Voter Education

The midterm elections are approaching fast, and 100 Rural Women is thrilled to announce our Voter Education webinar. This webinar primarily focuses on first-time voters, including college and high school students. Our speaker, Charlotte Culbertson, plans to expand on questions dealing with the electoral process and misconceptions people have about voting. Participants are provided with general information on 100 Rural Women as an organization, general voting information, and hosting a Q&A session with Charlotte.

Charlotte Culbertson

Attorney & Experienced Election and Head Judge

Charlotte Culbertson is an attorney who specializes in family law and criminal law. She is on the State of Minnesota Board of Public Defenders, where she has been a member since 2019. Prior to her current experience, Charlotte served as a District Court Law Clerk for the State of Minnesota Tenth Judicial District from 2016 to 2018. Charlotte established her own law firm, Culbertson Law, in 2021 in Morris, Minnesota.

In addition to her law experience, Charlotte has also served as an election judge and a head judge in various counties over the years. Her experiences give her expansive insight into the election process. At this meeting, she’ll speak about the election process and misconceptions that people have about voting.
