100 in 100 Findings from our Statewide Meetings

Held: Thursday November, 18th at 8:30 am CST

Webinar Video, PPT Presentation and Resource Links provided below.

We shared our learnings and findings from our convenings with women across the state.  We started with a pilot in the NW this spring, held meetings across rural regions this summer and  in metro areas this fall with the goal  to engage as many women as possible who live in rural, work in rural, grew up in rural and are passionate about rural.

Joining us were our partners and supporters from the University of Minnesota with RSDP Regional Sustainable Development Partnership, Executive Directors Linda Kingery in the NW and Andi Sutton in the SE along with Argie Manolis, Director of the  Center for Small Towns University of Minnesota Morris.  Our University of Minnesot Graduate Student, Undergraduate Student, Americorp Vista and Lead for Minnesota Fellow will be discussed the process, research, findings and how this work will inform the next 50 meetings as part of our initiative 100 in 100.

Delaine Anderson
Graduate Research Assistant

Delaine Anderson (she/her) is a graduate research assistant presently working on the 100 in 100 project. While she is currently in a Master of Public Health program at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities focusing on maternal and child health, she is applying to medical school to become a rural OB-GYN. Delaine brings to the 100RW team experience with qualitative research and statistical analysis, but when she isn’t nerding out behind the keyboard she loves knitting and playing with her cats (or knitting tiny sweaters for her cats).

In 2018, Ryan graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Marketing Management. He hopes his knowledge and background of marketing skills can bolster the voices of rural women.
