They presented their work, passion and vision for elections, shared resources, information and discussed the impacts of COVID19. Also, interns – Hannah Lepper and Breanna Ohl shared their work on GOTV “Get Out The Vote”.

Jamie Ebert
Executive Outreach Director & Scheduler MN Secretary of State
Jamie Ebert works as Secretary Simon’s Executive Outreach Director and Scheduler in the“Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office”. Her work involves connecting the Secretary to the public around issues important to the office, as well as voter outreach work to encourage Minnesotans to participate in the election process. Jamie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science as well as a Master in Advocacy and Leadership – both from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Jamie is originally from Hibbing MN.
Patty OConnor
Elections Leader Blue Earth County MN (Retired)
Patty worked for Blue Earth County for 39 years. Patty’s first job was at the front counter of the license center and progressed to the department head of Taxpayer Services. The Taxpayer Service department consisted of assessing, recording, tax assessments and collections, ditches, mapping, passports, vital statistics, and the license center. Patty was the department head that successfully merged the departments into one. Elections was and is still her passion. Patty was very active at the state level as the chair of the elections committee for State Election Administrators for a decade, and served on the National Association’s of County’s election committee. Patty is now mostly retired, but does some consulting in elections, and restructuring of organizations.
Hannah Lepper
100 Rural Women Intern
Hannah Lepper (she/her) is a junior at St Olaf College and is majoring in Political Science with a minor in International Relations. In her free time she enjoys baking, hanging out with her dogs, and reading. She will primarily be working on the Get Out The Vote initiative for 100 Rural Women.
Breanna Ohl
100 Rural Women Intern
Breanna Ohl (she/her/hers) is a Senior at Winona State University and is majoring in Communications: Leadership and Advocacy with a minor in Conflict Studies. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, hiking with her dogs, and playing guitar. She will be working on the Get Out The Vote initiative, the Breakfast Club Webinar series, and the Reading Room.
