Michelle is the Nicollet County Attorney\, where she has been serving for over a decade. She has been working in the Nicollet county office since 1995 when she entered as the Assistant County Attorney. Thus\, she has dedicated a lot of her time to serving the community. Lake is Carlton County’s first-ever female sheriff. A longtime Carlton County resident\, Lake has been in law enforcement for over 30 years. Currently\, she serves as the county sheriff. Elected in 2006\, Lake is the county’s first-ever female sheriff and the second female sheriff in Minnesota. Senator Rosen is a veteran Senator\, serving in the Minnesota Senate since her election in 2002. Currently\, she serves as the representative of District 23 in Minnesota. Rosen has dedicated herself to fighting drug use and furthering healthcare in the state of Minnesota. With a deep background in agriculture\, including a degree in Agronomy\, Senator Rosen serves as a “strong voice for rural Minnesota.” Following the conclusion of her current term\, Rosen plans to retire from the Senate. Midterm elections are in a few weeks\, and we want to discuss why voting is so important. This webinar primarily focuses on first-time voters\, including college and high school students.
