DESCRIPTION:Register HERE \nPlease Join us for a conversation around holistic well-being and women’s reproductive health \nThe Women’s Foundation of Minnesota wants to hear ideas and perspectives from women and girls of all ages in rural Minnesota to help inform a new funding area titled Holistic Wellbeing and Reproductive Justice. We invite you to join us for a one hour zoom session on Wednesday\, July 26th from 11:30 – 12:30 to bring your voice to this process. \nQuestions we are interested in hearing your thoughts on include: \n\nWhat does holistic wellbeing mean to you? What barriers exist for you to feel fully well?\nHow do you think toxic stress and trauma impacts women’s health and wellbeing?\nWhen you think about women’s reproductive health\, what is most important to you? This might include everything from menstruation to childbearing\, family planning and/or menopause.\nWhat is the story you want shared about the needs in this area related to holistic wellbeing and women’s reproductive health?\n\nThe information gathered will be used by the Women’s Foundation to design a new funding area in the winter of 2023-24 and it is important that we bring rural voices into our planning process. REGISTER HERE\nHosted by Minnesota Humanities Center and Minnesota Youth Council (MYC) \nDid you know that Minnesota youth are the only youth in the nation that have an official voice in legislation? Join us on May 16th to learn about the four key initiatives of the Minnesota Youth Council (MYC) and the work they have done this legislative session in pursuit of a just and equitable Minnesota. \nThe MYC envisions a state that prioritizes the agency and voice of young people from all backgrounds. The MYC is a collaborative of youth leaders that works to amplify the voice and power of their peers across the state of Minnesota. These young leaders are the go-to group in Minnesota for elevating and championing youth voice in decision-making. Members of the MYC are change agents in their communities and across the state\, leading the way with youth-centered systems change. The Council is comprised of 8th-12th graders representing each congressional district in Minnesota and provides guidance to the legislature\, governor\, and Department of Education on issues affecting young people.
